Red Hen Kids!

This fall we are offering kids classes. Each class will have a theme that will be woven through music, books and projects. We will be active and silly and will learn somethings too. We meet in the barn and start with puzzles and coloring as an arrival activity and then we will get into our theme! The theme of November is fall. We will study seeds, leaves and harvest. We will read books and sing or dance to music about pumpkins, gardens, Peter Rabbit, gathering and autumn. We will create leaf luminaries, collect seeds, imprint leaves and look for bugs.

We meet Tuesdays at 1:45pm and Fridays at 9:45 for an hour and fifteen minutes. $10/child. Please RSVP at julieandgreg@redhenfarm.net

The set up is meant for a variety of ages. We will run things like a one-room school house style. If your child loses interest or the project isn’t a good fit, there will always be an area set up with toys that they can enjoy.
